Booking, Rescheduling and Cancellation
Booking
For portrait sessions; a non-refundable retainer fee of 50% of your total session price is required to schedule your session. This also serves as a cancellation fee. If you need to reschedule, it will be transferred to the future session at the discretion of the photographer. The remainder of your balance is due 24 hours before your scheduled session.
For weddings; a non-refundable retainer of 30% of your wedding package is due immediately to book and hold your date. This also serves as a cancellation fee. The remaining balance is due no later than two weeks before the date of the wedding. This can be made in multiple payments and payment plans are available.
Rescheduling
For portrait sessions; I allow one complimentary reschedule for anything not related to weather or location limitations. This must be within 60 days of the original session date and will be made at the discretion of the photographer. A $50 fee will be required for a second reschedule and if you are unable to make your third date, your session will be cancelled and retainer forfeited.
For weddings; If event is postponed, all services will cease at time of notification of postponement if no determined new date is provided. Payment schedule will be determined and readjusted post new event date notification. If client requires services to resume, post new event date being established, second payment will be required at time of service re-start. No fee will be charged provided the new date is available and within six months of the original date. If the new date is more than 6 months, a new retainer fee will be required. If I am unavailable for the new date, the original contract will be cancelled and subject to the cancellation policy.
Cancellation
For portrait sessions; In the event of a cancellation, you will forfeit your retainer and will be refunded any additional monies paid.
For weddings; Cancellation must be sent in writing via mail or e-mail and will not be accepted in any other form. If event is canceled, no portion of the fees paid will be returned. If event is canceled less than 30 days before date, 50% of the Total Fees for Services will be required to compensate for hours of service already rendered and loss of event date. If the event is postponed, services contracted can be applied to a new date if available (refer to Postponement Policy).
