Are you a legal business?

Yup! I'm legally registered with the state of New York and carry up to date insurance. Let me know if you and/or your venue require a copy.

How much is your retainer? Is it refundable?

My retainer is 30% of the total package price.

Unfortunately, no. Retainers are nonrefundable because of the potential clients I turn away by holding your date and the time I have already spent planning your session or wedding.

When will we get our photos?

You’ll get a sneak peek a few days afterwards to hold you over (I know the anticipation is killer!), but my delivery quote for weddings is 6-8 weeks and for portrait sessions is 2 weeks.

Is a pre-session consultation necessary?

I highly recommend it! This helps to confirm all details, discuss locations and style, plus gives us time to cover any questions you may have!

How long do we have to choose digitals and buy prints?

Wedding galleries will be live for 60 days, all other session galleries will be live for 3 weeks after you receive it. After it expires, all images will be stored and archived for 30 days. Once it is closed, there will be a $25 fee to reopen your gallery for an additional 7 days.

When will I get my prints?

Currently, my supplier is quoting up to 14 days but they typically come sooner!

Do I get the copyright to my photos?

Nope, I retain the copyright to all photos. You will receive a print release granting you the right to personal use.

What happens if you get sick or injured and can't photograph us?

Don’t worry! If anything were to happen, I have associate photographers I will reach out to and have everything covered.

What is your travel fee?

Travel is included up to 120 miles from Cameron Mills, NY but I would love to travel wherever your love story takes me! Anything over that is charged at the IRS standard of 65.5 cents per mile plus accommodations if required.

Is my gallery private?

Yes! All galleries are password protected so only you can see them - unless you share the password with grandma!

Do you edit all the photos?

Yup! Every single one that is chosen for your gallery is hand edited by yours truly. My post processing is mostly in the coloring of the photo but I will also remove non-permanent imperfections (ie; a pimple, fly away hairs) if needed.

Will my digitals be watermarked?

No way! Wedding galleries never have a watermark - all the photos are yours. The watermark will only appear in engagement galleries. Once you choose your digitals and download, the watermark is automatically removed!
